Our Vision and Mission

We are a group of electronics and communication engineers with a vision to democratize Internet of Things (IoT). Digitization is at the core of every industry – automotive, manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, utilities, Smart cities and even our own home. Hardware requires lot of post sales service and IoT products have multiple components like sensors, power regulators, firmware and cloud software which no single company can cater to customers globally. This means we need thousands of IoT companies within India and globally who can build products locally and cater to these multiple industries. Our belief is that anyone should be able to convert their IoT idea into a product and cater to his customers within a village, town, city or a state.

We are enabling this vision through our state of the art foundational products with compute + network + storage designed on single board architecture. Our products are a combination of every foundational component required to build an IoT product. The board supports the entire product journey right from idea to prototype to pre-production and scale to millions of devices. We have a board for every digitization idea across verticals. We are already catering to thousands of enterprise developers, researchers and students community. We are already catering to the below mentioned customer segments in India and expanding to North America, EU, Japan and Taiwan by December 2024.

The Name

“Bharat + Pi” – our vision begun with a simple search for design which can lead us to build the ultimate foundation for digitization of space around us. And this represented the word – Bharat (a Sanskrit word for ‘to bear/ to carry’ which means ‘one who is in search of light/ knowledge’). The design in turn remained same no matter what use case we were building for any industry and thus represented the “π” (Pi – In a circle, if you divide the circumference by the diameter, you will get exactly the same number.). Since we have conceptualized, designed, fabricated and manufactured board in India so we are proud enough with the name! We wanted the brand to be associated with what we are building, who we are and where do we come from! Hope you like it?

In India we are enabling “Smart Bharat” and for rest of the nations we are enabling “Smart World” through “Bharat Pi”.

Founding Team

A combined experience of 40+ years in product development, sales and marketing across enterprise, cloud and hardware products. Worked with clients across multiple geographies like India, US and Europe with vast experience in international product quality assurance, post-sales and GTM.
